I'll tell you I am pessimistic, and you're right Brian Bennett lays out the pro's and con's very well. And right Doug Marrone is flying on Con Air. We needed a head coach who's a head coach and with solid Northeast ties. And as Bennett points out, no college job since 01, no Northeast job since 94, and one of the 'pro's' is that he is under Sean Payton. Yes, he is definitely under Sean Payton. The 'offensive coordinator' title is just that; a title. He's an offensive line coach who's never been a head coach.
So in summary, we hired an offensive line coach with no head coaching experience to turn our program around. Welcome home, George DeLeone Junior.
